Privacy Policy

Minofi ("Minofi", "we", "us") is operated by an independent developer. This policy explains what data we collect when you use Minofi, why we collect it, and what control you have over it.

Data we collect

Account information. When you sign up, we collect your name and email address through Firebase Authentication, either directly or via Google Sign-In. We never see or store your password — that's handled entirely by Firebase.

Product data. To run the app, we store the information you create inside Minofi: your goal, your daily missions, focus session history, XP, levels, and streaks. This is saved in Firestore (Google Cloud) under your account.

Payment data. If you purchase founding membership, payment is processed entirely by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. Minofi never receives or stores your card details — we only receive confirmation that an order was completed, which we use to unlock your account.

Usage data. We use Vercel Analytics to understand how the site is used (pages viewed, approximate location, device type). It is designed to be privacy-friendly and does not use tracking cookies or build a profile tied to your identity. It only runs if you accept the cookie banner on your first visit.

Cookies & local storage

Minofi stores a few things directly in your browser: your cookie preference, and your in-progress focus session (so a refresh doesn't lose your timer). These are required for the app to work and aren't used for tracking. If you accept the analytics cookie banner, Vercel Analytics may also be loaded.

How we use your data

• To create and operate your account and your daily mission data.
• To unlock founding membership after a completed payment.
• To communicate with you about your account (e.g. password resets).
• To understand overall usage and improve the product.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers.

Third parties we rely on

• Firebase (Google) — authentication and database storage.
• Lemon Squeezy — payment processing for founding membership.
• Vercel — hosting and privacy-friendly analytics.

Data retention & deletion

Your data is kept for as long as your account exists. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. You can self-serve most of this from Settings, or email us and we'll handle it manually.

Children's privacy

Minofi is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated by email.
