Nobody is waiting for your product

When you really think about it, building something isn't really that hard. Especially during these AI times. Claude can make you literally 99% of the apps on internet. Before 10 years, sure, it was hard to make something good, but now, it's literally couple of hours chatting with computer. (Crazy times)

The hard thing today is distribution of your product. People are celebrating these software engineers like they are some demi gods, but in reality, true magicians are marketing people. Not to be mistaken, expert software engineer is still a magician, because he is the expert, but most of these people are really corporate drones. They do the same work that Claude can do, except Claude can do it better.

Today, it's all about generating good idea, marketing, distribution, the ways to acquire users. You can have the best product in the world, but if no person knows about it, it doesn't matter. Look at people like Roy Lee. He is the perfect example of how average idea can make you millions if you have marketing in place. Instead of learning how to code in details, we should all learn how marketing works, how creating content works, how to present your idea with social media.

That is what truly matters. You need to sell your product to other people. Great app with zero users is just app, but average app with users becomes great app.

Till the next time.
